Ayurveda has mentioned herbal decoction for over all development of the foetus for each month. After years of research and study we have designed certain medicines and Kalpa which are effective in overall development of the foetus and easy to administer
1) Garbha Rasayana
This medicine includes 12 different herbs formulated in the form of Aveleha like Chyavanprash Aveleha. The word Rasayana in general means chemical, but literal meaning of Rasayana as per Ayurveda is that which nourishes all the tissues of the body and maintains health through out life. Garbha Rasayan enhances growth and development of the foetus which results in weight gain and better development of brain.
Dose- Can be taken from 1st month of pregnancy, 1 tea spoon in the morning on empty stomach, beverages and food can be taken after 1\2 hour.
2) Narayanadi Kalpa
It is sweet in taste. Narayanadi Kalpa is suggested in 2nd, 6th, 8th and 9th month of pregnancy, for the development of foetal genital organs and for the weight gain in the foetus.
Our body constitutes of digestive Agni which converts food into easier form to be absorbed in the body for nourishment. Each Dhatu (7 body tissue which support and maintain the life) also has its own agni (fire) to nourish them. Garbharasayan kalpa helps in proper functioning of these dhatvagni and Narayanadi Kalpa nourishes each Dhatu.
Dose - 2 tea spoon twice a day with milk.
3) Garbhini chardihar yog (Anti emetic mixture)
Suggested in morning sickness
Dose – Repeated use of a pinch of garbhini chardihar yog.
4) Muktashukti Yog
It is suggested in the 2nd trimester for strengthening of hair and bones.
Dose - A pinch twice a day along with milk.
5) Garbhavarnasudharak Yog
It is suggested in 5th and 6th month of pregnancy for smooth, tender and supple skin and fair complexion of the foetus.
Dose – A pinch twice a day along with milk.
6) Masanumasik Kwatha vati
It is recommended for woman with previous bad obstetric history and for woman with high risk pregnancy. Masanumasik kwatha vati includes different herbs decoction for each month for development and growth of the foetus accordingly.
Dose- 1 tablet twice a day after meals.
7) Hridaya Kalpa Vati
It is for proper development and functioning of foetal heart. Suggested in 2nd, 3rd and 4th month of pregnancy, recommended for woman with family history of heart disease.
Dose – Half a tablet twice a day before milk.
8) Medhakranti Vati
For foetal brain growth and development, acts as brain tonic. Suggested in 4thand 5th month of pregnancy.
Dose – 1 tablet twice a day before meals.
9) Pichu Taila
Place tampon soaked in pichu taila in the vagina in the 9th month of pregnancy for alleviation of the Apanvayu, strengthening of the vaginal muscles and to facilitate normal labour. Remove the tampon the next day without fail and maintain hygiene.
10) Anti-Stretchmark Cream
To prevent and minimize stretchmarks, apply on marks after 4th month of pregnancy.
Along with above medicines also follow the medicines prescribed by your gynaecologist.
11) Sutikarasayana
This is post delivery medicine for lactating mother.
It helps to restore the health status of lactating mother and effective lactogenesis.
12) Balrasayana
This medicine can be given to the baby from day one till six years of age. Regular intake of this medicine enhances immunity of child and develops sense organs, intelligence, and retention power.
Dose – As per the age a pinch of balrasayana with honey before or after breakfast.
13) BabySoft Cream
This cream is useful for dryness of skin, also for napkin rash. It keeps babys skin smooth, soft and healthy.
14) Abhyanga Taila
Applying oil to whole body is abhyanga. Abhyanga strengthens muscles and bones, increases blood circulation, keeps mother's and baby’s skin smooth and supple.
Applying oil and massage should be before bathing.
